City festival

When the big town festival takes place in Lüdinghausen in September, the Sunday shopping from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. is a must. There is also the town festival market, which invites you to haggle and browse. A colorful program on the two event stages rounds off the city festival Sunday. These include the music morning pint, music and dancing on the market square stage and the town festival café under the mayor's window.

Saturday is Children's Day with a flea market, blue light day and lots more activities for the little ones. In the Borg and on the town hall square, there will also be lots of play equipment to discover, inviting children to crawl under, run around, climb on and play with each other. The big auction will also take place on Saturday afternoon on the Marktplatz stage.

And on Friday, the festival starts with the town festival run followed by a party on the town hall square and on the market square with various bands and DJs.
