Hotel No.11

You will find Hotel No.11 in the pedestrian zone in the center of Lüdinghausen. The small breakfast hotel has now become a three-part building unit that combines very different eras: A narrow new building with 6 rooms has been added to the main building, as well as a lavishly restored listed farmhouse from 1619, which houses a further four rooms. This building, probably the oldest residential building in Lüdinghausen, also houses the impressive historic breakfast room.
Equipment
All seventeen rooms in the hotel have been furnished with great attention to detail, each with its own individual character. A high level of comfort and accessibility are a matter of course - all rooms can be reached by elevator.
The 17 rooms embody in very different ways what was always important to the owners when building the hotel and furnishing the rooms: architectural sophistication paired with individuality and the use of exclusively high-quality materials. Many loving details, such as cupboards made from old French shutters, add to the charm of the hotel. Unusual wallpaper and oak floorboards form the harmonious backdrop for numerous unusual furnishings that they have collected from all over Europe. Each of them has its own little story.
Historic breakfast room: Here, breakfast is served at the table with fresh rolls, a choice of egg dishes and fruit salad, all in stylish English silver.
In the afternoon, this coffee house-style space is a public café for hotel guests and external guests. Here you will be spoiled with homemade cakes and tarts from a country pastry shop as well as the finest tea and coffee specialties. A specialty is the traditional British cream tea, for which advance booking is required (from 4 persons). The café is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 2 to 5.30 pm.
The owners are particularly proud of the hotel's entry in the Michelin Guide, as well as a rarely awarded additional accolade as a particularly pleasant hotel. Important for cyclists: Hotel No. 11 is a member of Bed and Bike and is equipped accordingly.
Café in Hotel No.11
Visit the enchanting café, which welcomes you in the afternoon with first-class coffee specialties, selected teas, homemade cakes and tarts from a country house patisserie. A highlight is the popular cream tea, a traditional British specialty consisting of scones with jam, salmon and cucumber sandwiches and, of course, a pot of tea (only if ordered in advance for 4 or more people).
Breakfast for external guests is only served by the team for groups of 10 or more with advance booking.
The incomparable ambience in the 400-year-old half-timbered house, furnished with stylish furniture from all over the world and exquisite silverware, makes the café unique.
And if you still have time, you can browse through the attractive antique and silver store. There you will find a large selection of English silver, small side tables, old porcelain, lamps and much more.
