Hiking day on Sunday, May 17
Hiking through Reckelsum, Emkum and Leversum: On Sunday, May 17, 2026, the hiking day in Seppenrade and Lüdinghausen will take place again. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., all those interested are invited to explore the farming communities in the west of the rose village on the hiking trail specially marked for this day from the Seppenrade Rose Garden (length: 12 km).
Start individually
It is not necessary to register in advance. All hikers can start individually.
The starting point and destination is the Heimathaus in the Rosengarten. Here, the Seppenrade local history association offers coffee, cake and barbecued food for refreshments. At the Emkumer Schule, the Landjugend Seppenrade will provide drinks and a snack.
Competition
Questions can be answered in a competition on the circular hiking trail. With a bit of luck, there are great prizes to be won. In addition, a group prize will be raffled off among participants who hike for a club or group.
