Former poorhouse

The Hakehaus is a former poorhouse that was donated by Friedrich Hake in 1648. The listed and oldest secular building in Lüdinghausen is owned by the Hake Foundation. In 2000, Caritas of the parish of St. Felizitas received a donation of DM 100,000 from the legacy of Mathilde Krückendorf.

Today, the Hakehaus is used by the association for open youth work in Lüdinghausen, among others.
