Country house garden Christensen

Her garden is part of a restored Münsterland cottage dating back to 1898. It was awarded a prize in the competition "DIE SCHÖNSTEN LANDHAUSGÄRTEN" (THE MOST BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY HOUSE GARDENS) organized by the magazine SCHÖNER WOHNEN and is described in the book DEUTSCHLANDS SCHÖNSTE PRIVATGÄRTEN (GERMANY'S MOST BEAUTIFUL PRIVATE GARDENS), among other publications. Gaby Christensen has also been featured in Landlust magazine.
The Lüdinghausen native is a passionate gardener and garden planner. When Gaby Christensen talks about flowers, trees and shrubs, her eyes light up. It's simply fun to listen to her.
Under the heading "Garden Impressions", she invites gardening enthusiasts to her home. After a welcome Prosecco, there is a talk entitled "Farmhouse gardens yesterday and today. Origin - concept - planting". Gaby Christensen then gives a guided tour of her garden, which is divided into four themed areas: the cottage garden, the courtyard area with its many potted plants and Mediterranean feel, the peaceful lawn and hedge garden with its meditative elements and the modern art trail on the old orchard. There will then be time to chat over coffee and pastries.
Garden impressions: Price: 15 euros per person, duration: approx. 3 hours, by appointment only, dates can be viewed online. Special dates and conditions are available by arrangement for groups of 10 people or more
Gaby Christensen also offers "open gardens" and workshops.
