Open city tour

Lüdinghausen Marketing offers an open city tour on the first Saturday of every month. The tour starts at 2.30 pm at Lüdinghaus (Borg 4).

Let yourself be carried away into the history and stories of the town of Lüdinghausen: What were the effects of the numerous fire disasters in Lüdinghausen? How did people used to live in the town on the river Stever and why are there so many moated castles in and around Lüdinghausen? These and many more questions are answered on the public guided tour of the moated castle town of Lüdinghausen.

On the tour through the old town, the guide tells you about the special features of Lüdinghausen and the people who live and work here and have shaped the town. The tour takes you to numerous sights and monuments in the town, such as the Felizitas Church, the market fountain and Lüdinghausen Castle.

The tour lasts approx. 1.5 hours. Adults pay 10 euros, children 5 euros. Tickets are available from Lüdinghausen Marketing in Lüdinghaus.
