The rose garden with its approx. 600 rose varieties and around 24,000 rose plants is an absolute crowd-puller. The village tour starts here. From the rose garden, we head into the village center of Seppenrade with its winding alleyways and stairways. The knights "von Sepperothe", the "Haus Kock", village life in the early modern period, treasure trove, French period and a head niche grave are explained. The church of St. Dionysius is also part of the tour. The neo-Gothic church in the center of the village was consecrated in 1885. Another destination is the largest ammonite in the world. It was found in Seppenrade in 1895.
