Dalhaus farm

"The biggest compliment is when our guests come back"
Petra and Christan Dalhaus have turned their farm into a feel-good oasis in Münsterland: vacationing and getting married
Petra and Christian Dalhaus have created a real oasis of well-being for vacationers on their 700-year-old farm. The couple have furnished seven apartments and vacation apartments in the old main house: All very tasteful and each very individual. "I have to feel like I could live here. Only then am I satisfied," says Petra Dalhaus.
Sewing room, calf barn, loft...
The two of them took over the farm in 2018. "After my mother-in-law had already rented out the old children's rooms to guests in the 90s, we decided to continue doing so." The first three units were rented out at the end of May 2018, and the next ones were gradually added. Calf barn, hayloft, sibling apartment, sewing room, pantry, pond view and the exclusive loft: there are now seven units, each of which can accommodate one to five people.
"We are delighted to be able to fill the farm with life and keep it that way," say Petra and Christian Dalhaus. While the trained hotel manager has a penchant for beautiful things and designs and furnishes the apartments, Christian Dalhaus, a freelance IT and project management consultant, takes care of the homepage and administration. "Perfect division of labor," they both think.
"If you want to come to us with the whole family or a larger group, you can also rent the whole house, including the team kitchen and hall with fireplace," explains Petra Dalhaus. "Guests can spend time together, but everyone also has their own retreat in their own apartment. That's a great combination."
Say yes - cozy and familiar
You can also get married at the Dalhaus farm. Petra and Christian Dalhaus are both honorary registrars and have set up a wedding room in the old farm building. "We cater to individual wishes and make everything possible. There is only one wedding a day, so there is plenty of time for the get-together and champagne reception afterwards. That's a big plus compared to other locations," says Petra Dalhaus. "We also have a cozy and informal atmosphere, with an upper limit of 50 guests per wedding."
"The biggest compliment for us is when the guests come back," says Petra Dalhaus. "And we have quite a few of them. Some visit us regularly once a year." "And because we live next door, we get direct feedback from our guests. It's always very positive. Both in terms of the farm and the great surroundings and, above all, Lüdinghausen. And that makes us very happy," adds Christian Dalhaus. Nadine WengeContact: Hof Dalhaus, Berenbrock 51, 59394 Lüdinghausen, Tel. 02591/3338, info@hof-dalhaus.de
