Camping on the canal
The Peters campsite has been delighting young and old for 60 years now. Canoeists from Dortmund were the first guests in 1927 and regularly docked on the canal from Dortmund to Lüdinghausen to pitch their tents on the meadows near farmer Frenking. Back then, a pan of fried potatoes with two fried eggs cost 50 pfennigs.
Today, guests come to a 3-star campsite equipped with every conceivable amenity, which can be used all year round. Here you will find a total of 90 permanent pitches, 10 motorhome pitches, five tent pitches and vacation homes in beautiful surroundings on a total area of 17,000 m².
Dogs are very welcome. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer. Dishes can be washed in the dishwasher. All pitches are equipped with water supply, waste water connection and a 16A electricity connection. There is also a motorhome disposal station. WLAN is also available throughout the site.
