Evening market: ring in the weekend in the castle courtyard

Every second and fourth Friday of the month (April to October), the courtyard of Lüdinghausen Castle is transformed into the popular evening market. From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., various market stalls offer the finest cheese, antipasti, bread and pastries, tarte flambée, fine meat, wine and beer and much more.

What sets the evening market apart from the traditional weekly market is its tranquil atmosphere in the shadow of the historic walls. With its small beer garden under gnarled oak trees, it invites you to spend a few hours relaxing or having a nice chat. After all, what could be better than kicking off the weekend with a glass of wine in the castle courtyard?

The Friends of Lüdinghausen Castle are there on a voluntary basis. They provide a wealth of information and give an insight into the old walls.
